Full Machine Environment, ESPRIT CAD CAM software includes the most robust simulation software today for realistic machine environment simulation. As pictured here, the machine table, housing, head, control and workpiece can be viewed with, or without, the machine housing. Tools, tool holders, etc. can all be controlled on or off, or made transparent, to visually check for collisions with the workpiece or clamps before sending the program to the CNC. However, if full machine verification is desired, any combination of full machine verification can be viewed inside ESPRIT, giving the programmer the most realistic view of the programming environment.

The realistic programming environment also allows the programmers to more easily set up graphical representations of the part setups for the shop-floor personnel for in-depth documentation. Even STL files of processed setups can be stored from the simulation and used in a separate Esprit file for another setup on another machine.

ESPRIT Feature Recognition automatically recognizes part features and properties such as height, depth, diameter, minimum radius, work plane orientation, etc. When each feature is machined, the tool path is created using these properties eliminating the need to manually enter cutting parameters. The parameters are automatically set based upon the feature you are machining! You will benefit from completely automated CNC programming without sacrificing tool control when you need it. Furthermore, if you decide to change a tool, or edit an operation, ESPRIT operation pages contain relational values, so the user does not have to manually change speeds/feeds, step over, etc. All the editing is done by ESPRIT! Universal Post Processing...
G-Code for virtually any CNC machine.

ESPRIT will output G-code for virtually any CNC machine thanks to its Universal Post Processing system.  An extensive post processor library contains posts for a large number of the more popular machine tools and the entire library is available to you on the product CD.  You also have the power of the post processor generator to create a new post from scratch or just as easily modify one of the existing posts from the library to suit your individual preferences.  In either case you have complete control over the format of your G-code, and you have the ability to create an unlimited number of post processors.

Simulation and Verification...

ESPRIT Solid Simulation and Verification assures your NC programs are of the absolute highest quality by simulating the machining cycles along with the entire machining environment, including stock material, fixtures and clamps, in dynamic solid shaded graphics. Using a built-in part inspection tool you can easily compare the original as-designed part to your as-machined work piece to assure part accuracy. The realistic images let you see the part as if you were holding it in your hand.
